• Salary (Full-Time): $95,000 - $100,000 annually

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Cost Accountant to join our team in San Ramon. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity with competitive pay and the chance to transition into a permanent role. The ideal candidate will have strong cost accounting expertise and the ability to support month-end and year-end processes, pushing accurate financial data to the Controller.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and analyze cost accounting reports for month-end and year-end close.
• Ensure accurate cost allocations and inventory valuations.
• Assist in preparing financial statements and supporting schedules for the Controller.
• Monitor and reconcile cost accounts, variances, and inventory transactions.
• Collaborate with operations and finance teams to provide cost insights.
• Maintain compliance with GAAP and internal policies.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Accounting experience, with a focus on Cost Accounting.
• Manufacturing environment experience preferred (cost/inventory knowledge).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• System-savvy; experience with Sage X3 preferred but not required.
• Proficiency in Excel and ability to work with ERP systems.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
